Guided Imagery and Music Therapy |
The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music is an advanced psychotherapeutic modality using music as a stimulus to help someone reach deep into their own psyche. The music helps the person visualize or create images, feelings or body sensations that offer insights and lessons that the individual wishes to learn. Both during and after the session, GIM helps a person integrate more healthy patterns of behavior, thoughts, and emotions into one’s life. GIM assists the participant to move toward healing, self-growth, and spiritual connectedness.
